Used to edge seams and give a nice finish to raw edges.

It can also be used to make piping or as a tape for bunting.

There is a wide range of colours available in store including black, white, cream, blue, green, yellow, red and many more.

Description

This flexible strip of fabric is cut diagonally (at 45 degrees) which gives it a stretchy quality that is ideal for edging seams or finishing a crafting project.

Prices for cotton bias binding are as follows (by width)

18mm  – 55p per metre

25mm – 70p per metre

30mm – 80p per metre

The price for satin bias binding is 70p per metre

It has a double fold that allows you to wrap it neatly over a raw edge and sew it together.

I have lots of bunting hanging in the shop that is held together with bias binding, but you could use it on lots of crafting projects like, place mats, make up bags, quilts, baby bibs.

One of my favourite uses for bias binding is piping.  Just wrap the bias binding around some piping cord (which I have in store) and add it to your home making projects like cushions, window blinds, table runners or bedding.
